Gents, does anybody have an opinion or experience on where I could buy a good short block for street use? 355/383 would work. I've been collecting parts, heads, cam, timing set, rockers, etc and originally was going to pull my numbers matching engine and have it redone. Now I'm thinking to put the numbers engine in a bath of oil and keep it for the next generation. Your advice is welcome.

There is a machine shop down near philly IAP that redoes core engines and will build to your specs. prices are resonable, they do mainly generic rebuilds, but will do custom work
I almost ordered one for my Monza, but the Vette came along and the Spyder got pushed to the back burner for a few more years. If i find the name of the place, I'll post it here.
