Hi folks...I have a carb. question. I'm building a 383 stroker, with fast burn heads, and a thumping cam...now, this may seem silly, but I'm debating over which carb to get.
My choices are, a Holley 750 double....or the Barry Grant Demon 750. I know the line about the Demon being a Holley that works, but I'm trying to justify the price difference here...
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Alan

I am running the 650 version which has worked great right out of the box. I like the float level window in the side and the external float adjustment.

As much as I think Demon carbs would be better, you have to keep in mind the company went under recently and are no longer made. Since factory support is no longer available, it looks like a Holley would be a better choice.

For what it's worth, I am running a demon vac secondary w/elect. choke on my 406 and have no complaints!!
