I don't know if it's the highest HP on C3VR, but according to "DESTOP DYNO", It's about 675 horse on gas and about 1000 when I push the nitrous button.
We started with a ZZ502, tore it down and added full floating 4340 rods, custom ordered JE pistons, gapless rings, custom ground cam, gear drive, King racing bearings, ported and polished 113cc square port heads, roller rockers, Holley street dominator tunnel ram with twin 650 dbl pumpers, 450 horse nitrous system, Hooker sidepipes with the packing removed from the mufflers, M-22 tranny, 4.56 gears, centerforce clutch, 50/50 drag shocks, h.d. 7 leaf spring, Mickey thompson 29.5x15 rears, M.T. 7" fronts, all on custom made billet specialties billet wheels.

Hey Mark ( woody1),
What are you running for a rear and half shafts or are you running a solid axle?

Kyle,
I think the actual U-joint is the same. The attachment fixture is different. The small block uses a thing that looks like a muffler clamp and the big block uses two "saddle's" and bolts. To get better ridgitity you should use solid U-joints. The stock joints have a grease fitting and the heavyduty stuff is permanently greased with no fitting. Much stronger.

Glenn, Right now I have the original drive line and shafts in it with h.d. u-joints. After the motor gets broke-in, I will find out if they can handle it.
(I doubt it)
When I get a little more $$ in the car fund I am going to get some stronger peices, but till then, I am going to have trust the originals. I won't be giving it full throttle until I am confident that I won't put a halfshaft through my @$$.

Kyle, There was a small clearance problem with the tires rubbing the frame, but 1/4 inch wheel spacers took care of that. The spacers were also needed to clear the brake calipers with the rims. When I custom ordered the wheels, I forgot to take the calipers into account. We added ZL1 flares because the tires stuck out from the original wheel wells far enough that I didn't like the look without the flares.
Hey Mark, ever drive that thing past a cop? You'd have a dozen following you around here!!!
Looks great though!
