...about over tightening the bolt on the plate between the fuel pump and the block.
Snaped that sucker right off! Now I need to find someone with a tap & die set!

Hey Adam,
Just a passing thought - be careful not to overtighten things while putting everything back together. A properly set torque wrench will save you the hassle of having to drill out a bolt or stud that you got too physical with.

I am new to the Registry and posted wrongly but, please see my post directly above yours....."Why is it always somebody elses fault" OK? Arent you the 1 who broke it???

Adam do NOT attempt to remove the bolt ,,,,,! It is a 1/4 20 and very soft and they break easily. There is no room to work in that area with a tap & drill so magical things must happen . With any luck I can get it out with a minimum of fuss!

Really gently, he tapped a really sharp nail punch to catch a rough spot, and turned it out, by gently, slowly tapping the nail punch with a hammer, until enough of it was out of the block that he could turn it by hand!
(Oh, and all of this took place with about a half inch of room to move the hammer
)
I'm telling ya, it was like watching a magic trick!
