I have to apologize...I was wrong about the ZZ4 using Vortec heads. I looked it up and I was wrongly informed originally...the ZZ4 intake manifold will work fine with any pre-'86 small block...no problems with anything else either.
The ZZ4 does have D shaped exhaust ports whoch apparently make no difference as far as exhaust manifolds go. The ZZ4 heads are still a center-bolt design.
Pardon me for being misinformed and passing it on like I did. No one likes to eat crow, but it's being served up big time here!
