sorry not realyy an engine issue but closest I could find. I have got some info inthe past but still baffleed by this one??? I am getting no water from the windshield wiper spray from the bottle and trying to find is the hose is connected on the bottom or the pump is gone or the pump electric is loose but cannot get to it????
Someone posted inthe past to maybe take it out the bottom but sont see how with the (charcoal cannister???) right below it and do nto see the screws to remove it....

I got the filler neck off and one screw from the bottle holder the inside screw but the one outside to the body Im sorry my wrist will not turn that way to get in there with a rachet to remove the bolt????

Ok if I do get the bolt out how do I lift the bottle up to look at the pump under it and the wire connection????

I cannot believe they would make the engine compartment that I have to remove the brake resevoir and brake debooster just to replace the bottle...there has to be a shop manual that tell's you how???

I know I will not be driving it and need the wipers and spray but you know how little things that aren't important get to yo and yo want to correct them????welll this is one of them?? someone has to have had this pain..Please help... 1978 l48 auto these got to be a way out?????

Ive not had my washer bottle out so cant help on this one but Im sure someone here has encountered the same problem.  You have to remember though, you are dealing with a C3 and there seems to be one universal step before making ANY repair.  "disassemble the entire %%$#@* car then repair whats broke" Rolling On The Floor Laughing
