Vette(s): 1970 ZR1

I have a 1970 ZR1 engine and I'm trying to track down the car. The engine code is V0211CTV. If anyone can advise on how to use the engine code to find the VIN and eventually the car I would be very appreciative.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.

To my  knowledge, as per GM production, only 51 ZR1s were produced in the 70, 71, and 72 years. They are very rare. You might try to contact the ZR1 registry.

Vette(s): 1972 LT-1 convertible with factory air. 2017 Black Rose Grand Sport convertible.

February 11th.  No vin number?  Maybe an over the counter engine?  No other numbers?

CTV is the correct engine code for a '70 ZR1. If there is NO VIN stamp on the same pad, then it was never installed into a vehicle, and what you have is possibly an over-the-counter engine, or a service replacement.
