I have a question for those that have install a zz4 in thier C3. I'm getting close to finishing the installation on my 76 and bought a set of 8MM GM wires from the same place I bought the engine. They said they were for the top (valve cover) mounted routing and had the 130 degree boot for the zz4 angled plugs. They looked good but when I attempted to route them I found that the lengths were not long enough for routing to some of the the plugs while keeping clearance from the stock exhaust manifolds and then routing through the wire blocks on top of the valve covers.
I thought before I buy another set of wires would the wire sets for the 76 corvette that route under the manifold work if I routed up top giving me extra length?
Well before you say that should just buy a set of wires that you cut to lenght and custom route your self I thought I would ask if anyone had purchased a set that worked first.  I'm a newbe on all this and really don't what to learn how to make custom connections if I can help it.Cry

While I haven't tried them, Accel makes a multi-angle spark plug wire set for small and big block Chevy engines.  They're available for HEI as well as point distributors.  Summit Racing carries them...Jegs probably does as well.
