It's already been removed from Ebay.
The reason it was $3k was because 68's are the worst year for Corvette

JK, it was most likly a scan, notice the auction isn't up anymore
Due to policy changes in Chevrolet, Corvette was treated like all other car lines for the first time, and quality dropped drastically. With bad publicity in most magazines, policy was re-thought and Chevrolet quickly restored independence and quality to Corvette within a few months, but all 1968s carry the stigma of being "the worse quality" of all Corvettes.
I thought that maybe I might have insulted some fellow members but isn't it a known fact that there were quality problems with the '68 Corvettes then most other years? I'm not saying that there arn't some very nice '68 out there cause I'm sure there are.

Probably a phantom Vette that will make your cash disappear.
There are some unscrupulus people out there.
When it looks too good to be true, it usually is.
