I would keep the 69 too. Its much better looking and continuing to climb in value. I'd like to get a C5 roadster if I could convince the wife to let me sell the MG.

Ain't no way I'd let a 69 that looks as good as yours go. Another point, the c6 has a price limit. Your 69 don't.

Well, after seeing your car I have changed my mind.... yep I think you should sell that car. I know, I know, sounds funny now huh? But, I can see that it has to pain you something awfull to look at that every day.

So in the spirit of a good C3VR brother I'll take it off of your hands. Seems like the only right thing to do now that I think about it. We were here to offer advice on selling the poor thing. Not to confuse you with keeping it!

Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Convertible. 350/350HP engine, power steering, 4 speed, burgundy exterior, black interior, black top, stainless steel brakes and optional hardtop. Rally wheels.
Tux,

Button up your coat before your heart falls out. (LOL).  That's really upstanding of you to take the 69 off my hands.LOL

Seriously, I think you guys have convinced me to hang onto the old girl and if circumstances get right, to get another Vette (like a C5).  One thing is for sure, you just don't get the thrill of driving in a C5 like you do in a shark.  And yes, I should have expected the common response to keep it from guys on a C3 forum.  What WAS I thinking?Dead

There are 2 kinds of people in this world. Those who own more than 1 vette and those who want to.........Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing

Comparing a C3 to a C5 (or any old tech car to modern tech) is a bad idea. If it was me, I'd decide if I really want to keep the C3. There area  ton of good C5's out there. And if you have to wait a few years, then the C6's will be reasonable by then too Wink
