Will post tonight when I get home.
Thanks,

Yes, my brother (the $$ guy) likes the idea of creating a replica racer but feels the current one is in to good condition to make all the changes we want to. So he challenged me to sell it and find something not running for much less.
I am still in!
Here's to help you with the photos. Nice vette. Sorry to hear and hope you find the one to replicate.
Enjoy.

Actual Mileage unknown spedometer shows 28,000 miles
I took ownership of the car in November. It had been in storage for 2 years with little info about its history. I immediately took it to my mechanic to review and drain/replace all fluids
Engine was rebuilt in 1998 by local Cheverolet dealer. I am told transmission was rebuilt then as well but no documentation.
As for documentation, I have the original manual and a folder full of receipts from Mid America for all of the interior parts that were replaced.
My mechanic tells me that the front suspension and A/C is in like new condition so the prievious owner spent some money replacing a lot of parts.
Due to a bad bearing, I recently replaced the driver side trailing arm with a completely new assembly from Fast Corvettes here in Dallas
Yohooooo! edit on 2/7. Confirmed today that the engine was rebuilt not replaced in 1998. Therefore we have matching numbers afterall.
