1981 Corvette 4 spd. A/C,P/W,6-way D/S Power seat. AM/FM CD- $15,000
Blue Ice Mettalic paint, w/subtile ghost flames down the doors. New nose, lower valance and tail piece, emblems, body mounts. Done 3 yrs ago. Just has a few small chips. Still looks great up close.
Black interior. Power windows. New seat foams and covers, carpeting, DynaMat installed, door panels, weatherstripping, rear pass. compartment door frames, clock, fuel gauge, console w/shift pattern, climate control levers/switch,e-brake lever and cover, tach board, center cluster circuit panel and all bulbs in dash.
350 HO crate motor LT4 HotCam. 5 yrs old/ about 9000 miles on it. Dyno'ed last year. 278 rwhp/307 rwftlb torque. with a carb set to lean. New carb has made a big difference in power, but I don't know what the output is now.
Transmission is a Richmond Super T-10 (7000 miles) Centerforce Dual friction clutch. All u-joints were replaced.
Rear end is a 3.07 Dana 44 out of a '80 vette. It was rebuilt 3 yrs. ago. Pinion seal has a small leak. I've redone the seal again, but it still seeps a little.
Exhaust is a custom 2.5" true dual stainless steel system w/ twin cats. Headers (Flowtech) are ceramic coated.
Suspension was redone 7 yrs ago. Complete PST Polygraphite suspension kit. Front springs, rear 7 leaf HD spring, KYB shocks, ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm, tie rod ends, all bushings, control valve steer cylinder, steering box, rotors, calipers, s/s e-brake kit, brake hoses. Tires are 2 yr old. P255/60R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A's. Wheels are 15x8 chrome rally's by Wheel Vintiques.
2 things don't work. Horn. Power Antenna.
I have $19,000 invested not counting my labor. $15,000 firm isn't unreasonable for a car 99% done I don't think. I can funish pics or more info upon request.
And the reason I'm selling the car is it time for a different C3. The project was fun, it kept me out of the bars after my divorce a few years ago, but it's time to move on. I really want a '73 coupe 454 - 4 spd. for my next C3. I think it's a very unique year.

Good luck with the sale. I can verify it is a great looking ride.
When I saw this thread, I couldn't believe you were selling her, but like you say, it's a project and it's time to move on.
You've got a great touring Vette with Michele's, so a '73 would be a good choice.
$15K is a great value for that Vette.
