Vette(s): 75 white on tan, t-top, 4 speed soon to be 75 bright blue on tan
I currently have a 75 white 4 speed car that I purchased to work on and restore.  Well, running two businesses has kept me busier than ever and I have no time to work on it and need to sell it.  I need to sell it for the $6,000 that I have in it just to break even.  The car has been updated to 78 and up t-tops.  I purchased a set of solid tops and installed new weather stripping on them that are paint matched, but no headliners.  The car came with the glass tops, but the glass is broke on both of them.  It look like someone dropped them on accident.  I have put over 1,000 in the engine replacing gaskets and seals as the car had not been driven much for the last four years before I purchased it.  I have receipts, but a short list is a new one piece oil pan gasket, rear main seal, new timing chain and gaskets, valve cover gaskets as well as the fuel pump and oil sending unit.  I had a powersteering pump installed as there was not one when I got the car and got new lines from Ecklers that were installed.  I have put a new mirror on the driver side and added one to the passenger side as well.  There are brand new goodyears on the front and the rears are only a year old.  The car has a/c, but needs a refil or convert to 134.  The front and rear covers are not on the car as they were cracked and dry rotted.  Again, no time to replace them.  Everything works on the car except the clock, but they never lasted long anyway.  It does smoke a bit when you start it up and could use an exhaust system.  The interior is in pretty good shape for a car of the age.  Someone replaced the dash pad at one point and accidentally ordered dark saddle and the interior is medium saddle, but looks okay.  The seats obviously need redone and for what it is worth the carpet is in good shape for its age as well.  Engine wise this car still has the original intake, carb and everything.  I did have to replace the starter when I got it, but still have the original one in the box if someone wanted to get it rebuilt and keep the original starter on the car.  I know that it sounds like the car needs a lot of stuff, but I'm just trying to be honest and upfront here.  I have driven the car 100 miles round trip to and from work since I got the car for a good while and the car still only has about 145,000 original miles on it.  This car just needs a little love from someone that has time to take care of her.  I hate to just see her sitting in my garage and not be able to do much with her due to time constraints.  Like I said, I need to get the $6,000 out of the car that I purchased it for.  I'm not looking to make any money on the stuff that I did to the car as that needed to be done in order to run properly.  I can be reached at my business which is called Just Toys Ltd at 866-FUN-2BUY (386-2289).  One of the businesses that I run is being an auto broker so I'm constantly on the go and just don't have time to wrench on a car.  I thank you all in advance that inquire.  I will take detailed pics for all that are interested.  Please no tire kickers I just have to sell a nice car that just needs some love.  I have to be pretty firm on the price as I got a small personal loan to get the car and I have to pay that off.Smile
