T-Top carrier
They don't come up all that often. I have been using mine all summer. Yes, it is ugly, but it works and gives you more room inside on trips as well as not having to be concerned about them being scratched or damaged if something gets on top of them.Crap, I never can get a link to show up. Hopefully, someone will fix this. Meanwhile, copy the address to your web browser.

I just don't think I could do that to my fastback. Drillin' holes in the body makes my stomach all funny.

I'm with you on that! My wife and I love to use the old Vette on long trips. We both attend a lot of SCCA events in the southeast. We have simply learned to pack very light.
Other solution is to leave the tops at home and use one of the spiffy soft-tops in case it rains.
C3: 1979 Corvette Coupe, Auto, L-48, Red/Doeskin (my wife's fave);
C4s: 1986 C4 coupe (SCCA road race car), satin black, 4+3, Z51 package, L-98; & 1993 C4 coupe, white, 6-speed, LT-1.
Mike came with the holes already drilled or I would be with you guys. This was one of the rarer options at some 3500 in 1980.
It works great however, I would never put them on a car that didn't already have them.
HOLY HANGERS BATMAN!!!! that is butt ugly. I have a 77. last year of the flat rear wind screen. It has that long flat tail and it looks good with the luggage rack on it and the t-tops mounted on the rack. Sorry, but that t-top rig on the back of a fast back... eewwwwwwww!!!!!
sfindlan, I am in Dixie region scca (north florida, south georgia). you should come down and run with us. check out dixiescca.com. If you come down, look me up, I drive a red, white and blue formula vee.
Where would a guy start lloking for one of those spiffy soft tops for my 77??

There are a couple of Problems that I have had using the Carrier. First is that the Plastic Mounts that go in the Body Crack. I solved this by Machining my Own out of Aluminum and having them Powder Coated Black. They have Lasted 20 Years. The other is when the Carrier is Installed the Rubber Pads always Marr the Paint. My Car is Black and not Clear Coat Paint. I can alway Buff the Marring back out but it takes a bit. Richard......
