Recently changed out stock motor and have many parts for sale. If interested, please reply and I will get back with you and will gladly send photo of the part.
For the purist or the enthusiast still needing to run smog components due to state regulations, I have smog pump, hoses, Hooker headers with the emissions tubing welded into them, etc.

Did the 82 come with the black plastic cover for the distrib? If so I could use it.
Eric
Yes, I do have the black plastic distributor cap and am not using it.
I put another set of hooker headers on our Vette and they were exactly the same down to the reducer/collector positions meaning I could reuse the exhaust where they were on the original set without cutting the old reducers. Everything bolted up.
The headers are obviously well broken in, they would need to be stripped and coated; however, I can send you a digital photo. The smog pump system runs molded hoses to the headers which I have also. You would see some HP gain.
I also have a perfectly good A/C compressor, hoses, fan shroud, electric fan and a few other parts. I am going to try and sell motor here locally once I get it cleaned and re sprayed.
Let me know and thanks for inquiring.
Kevin
The intake is still here, but I was looking to put the motor up for sale in 2-3 weeks, intake included. However, if they don't need the intake, I will let you know!

I am looking for the black plastic shield over the distributor, not the cap itself. Do you have it? If so how much?
Thanks
I apologize Eric, I do have the shield and I see where I wrote cap. Let me look into it, I will get back with you later.
Kevin, I could pull the intake for you and slap another intake on the motor. The intake is in good shape, aluminum but has been painted.
OSSW1 - let me know about the headers, you probably can't buy these the way they are welded. They are in very good shape, but would need to be coated.

Eric Vette Driver and Kebo:
I have not forgotten you! The distributor shield is in great shape and I called the closest Corvette Salvage dude in Houston to see what it and the intake for Kebo is worth. He was to call me back, but he did not. I will get with him again Tuesday.
I want to be fair with you guys, I don't know what they are worth. I will kick you a good deal.
I believe my good friends son wants to buy my motor for his airboat. I should hear back from him this upcoming week. I will tell him to get another intake so I can get you this one Kebo. I put some Airplane Stripper on the corner of it and the paint came right off, so I don't think that would be a problem for you. I know it is aluminum because I pulled it when I got the car to clean the underside of all the smog B$%##@!#$ and get an overview of the upper half of the old motor.
Hope that is okay, but everyone has gotten in the Holiday spirit this past week and a half.
