Hello again all...I have heard from a ton of you, most through private msg or email, concerning my last post. Some of you thought I was too hard on the group, but most supported me. First, I must say that I placed this post in the "C3's for Sale or Trade" and not the general forum for a discussion of the worth of an '82 C3. Second, many people who are looking for a car visit this site and look at the post. In fact, I received email from one such person who was, at first, interested in the car. He contacted me for a last time to inform me what he had read some of our post to my car and based on our discusssion felt the car was not worth the money. So you see, the group, or at least those who felt the need to respond by putting the car down, may have cost me money. They also put the value of all C3's down as well. Cars like the C3 are worth whatever someone will pay for it. To judge a car, site unseen, does not make any sence. Yes, I did sell the car, but not through this group. Having said that, a general discussion on the value of C3's would be cool. But don't openly put down someones car in the cars for sale forum. You hurt them and all of us. If you want to send them a private msg or email expressing your thoughts, that is fine and I am sure welcomed. There, nuff said.
Now, to answer some of your questions about what kind of cars I sell: I buy and restore cars as a hobby. Jaguars, XK's and E types mostly. I worked for Jaguar for many years. British sports cars of the '50's and '60's. Some street rods, the last a nice '54 Chevy pick-up, short bed, delux cab (5 window). I put a Mustang II front end in it, Wilwood brakes, an IROC rear, etc. A real nice ride. Mustangs, always a market. Corvettes, buying another C3 next week. Yep, red on red. Not as nice as the one I posted here, but with some work will be a nice ride. I still own my '62. Muscle cars, but they are getting way to pricy. No exotics, markets to small and they cost to much to restore. Willys jeeps, love them, own 2 right now, a '49 and a '51. Been buying fixing and selling cars for years. Love cars... don't ever make a lot, just put the money back into another project. Chears all, and for those of you concerned I will leave the group. I am sticking around. I just won't put another car in the for sale forum lol.

By all means stay around. It'a an interesting point you made about the sale. I'm sure no one inteneded to hurt your sale, but it's something we should be aware of in the future.
Do you have a site where we can look at some of the other cars? They sound interesting. I love C3s best of all vehicles, but if it has wheels and a motor, runs on fuel or electric (preferably gas), I like it.

in the future some pics might clear this up before it starts..
I did not comment as I really have no interest in bumperless C3's and really wouldnt know what one is worth.. but a picture speaks a thousand words
better luck on this next one..
