Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
I have been watching this car for 6 days now and it still only has the opening bid of $14000. In my opinion, the car is well worth the $$$. I'm just afraid to bid without speaking to the owner, and his voice mailbox is full and I can't leave a message.
Anyone live close to Elizabethton, TN?

Not bad.........hhuuuuuuummm........the pics aren't too detailed. Do ya really want an automatic? Check out the driver's seat, I saw a rip. '68's aren't going for a whole lot of $$. '68 had "Grimlin's" hangin' around, at least that's the scoop I've heard other vette folks talk about. The price is good!

I think the guy made a mistake. When I checked the block casting number, it's a 350, 1970 thru 1976. I finally talked to the guy and I believe he actually thought he had a matching numbers 327. Just goes to prove that some previous owners will tell you anything to sell the car. It pays to check.

Grimlins you say??????? The 68 has some differences and did have some minor quality issues which were easily corrected, but if you follow pricing on chrome bumper C-3's they are right there with the rest. Remember too that 68 & 69 were the last 2 years for the really wicked engine options!

Irregardless, I hope the new owner is able to get it out today in the sun with the top down.
I wish I could see the smile on their face. They didn't pay an outlandish price and it looked to be a pretty decent car.
I wish them luck and hope ta see them here someday!
