Recken I was where I should not have been. Maybe even stump jumpin. Didn't say that it was the smartest thing I ever did. Still need only one adjustable strut. The bend one has a smile or sad face depending on which way you turn it.

Did it follow the words YEE HAA?
What did the redneck say before the died? "Hey ya all, watch this!"
What did his best friend say before he died? "Shucks, I can do that!"
You could just get one regular strut and use that.
I made a set on a lathe for my 76. It was not all that difficult. I made both in about 3 hrs using 1" stainless steel turned down to 5/8 in the middle between ends (to reduce weight). I left about 3" on each end then drilled and tapped for one right hand and one left hand 5/8" rod end. Added stop nuts and was good to go. Better than the prices for them at vendors.
