Wow,that sounds like a great trip!I havent done something like that for awhile.One of the greatest trips I took was when I got out of the Marines in Norfolk,Va.A freind flew over from Washington State and we took as week driving my '77 Camaro back.Sounds like a great offer to check out a nice sounding shark,but I just today,after checking out a few Vettes lately,found a "79 L-82 thats in unbelievably good shape for its 90,000 miles.Its got all the options,& its reddish/maroon with black interior.The paint and interior are flawless.It belonged to an older guy that already has 3 other Vettes,a '55 Chevy,& others.It wasnt advertised,his daughter told me he might want to part with 1 of his Vettes. |thumb| |biggrin| |cheers|

No problem, we're looking forward to the trip and thought what better way to spend part of it than behind the wheel of a C3 (and not in the same vehicle with the mother-in-law! |laugh| ). Sounds like you may have found a gem...!!! Hope it works out!

Drove past your town a few years ago. Flew into Seattle and then drove to Whistler/Blackcomb for a week of skiing. That was a nice drive too!

Yeah,I've skiid at all the spots here in the NW corner of Washington where I'm at,and at Whistler once.Havent been for awhile though-maybe next year.You catch the State Ferry here in Anacortes to get to all the islands and to Canada.Sorry about putting you back in the car with the mother-in-law!LOL Boy its gonna get crowded here for the winter Olympics slated for Vancouver,BC,Canada in a few years.I wish I'd had a chance to check out your Vette earlier,but this ones nice and turns out its right here in town.So what brings you this way? Looks like I found a replacement for my totalled '77.Its a '79 L-82 auto,red/black interior,90,000 miles,with Enkei wheels,& all the options for $9000.Its right here in town 3 miles away,and wasnt advertised.The guy has 3 other vettes,a '57 Chevy,a big block El Camino,& others.His daughter said he might want to part with a fourth Vette-she was right.Shes the pharmacist where I get the medications I need after the wreck. Good luck selling the '68,thanks. |thumb|
