Hi Charlie,
I have a used original 4 speed shifter I'll sell you. I bought it about a year ago for $80 for my 69 coupe. It's the shifter with a chrome ball, it has the three shifter rods but only two levers. The reverse lever is missing. I have a Hurst shifter on my car. I bought this to replace the Hurst because I thought I wanted an original shifter. After purchasing, I was advised that I would like the Hurst better than the original shifter, so I never installed it. I'll sell it to you for what I paid for it and you pay the shipping. If you are interested send me an email and I'll send you some pictures.

Hi Jim!
First of all- Thank you for responding.
Second- Tell me more about this shifter. I am a little confused with the lever/rod thing. I understood the levers were on the main body of the shifter, and the flat plate items that attatch to the transmission. The rods connect the two. Please describe your rod/lever situation to me again, and tell me your opinion of the condition of the shifter in general-i.e. perfect, excellent, good, etc. If you are equipped to send pictures I can receive them.

The main shifter body that bolts to the transmission is complete. The three shifter rods are attached to the shifter body. On the other end of the shifter rods there are levers that connect the shifter rods to the transmission forks that actually move the gears around inside the transmission. In appearance, it's ok to good, it's not show quality. The shifter has grease and road dirt on it. I can't comment on it's functionality because I never installed it. I'll send you a few pictures.
