Can someone please tell me why half the corvettes on this for sale by owner site appear to be the deals of a life time.

Sounds a lot like a problem Ebay was having...very desireable cars for low buck prices. They wanted you to commit to buying the car and you send either the full amount or a substantial deposit then you find the car is actually located overseas (if it existed at all). Just a scam conducted through a legitimate website.

If it sounds too good to be true...

   Looking at the 2005 for $13K usd.   Tell me if I'm wrong.  But, does the C-6 come with a AM/FM Stereo/Cassette?

If so, I'll contact an appraiser around Grove, Oklahoma to give it a good check over and even test drive it.   Then go from there.

SCAM, have saw several of those posted in the past by different members. Too good to be true.

Why do those BS people post them when 'they' know it will not sell? 

I actually got involved in a case with a local FBI agent that is a friend of mine. Another Officer I work with was selling his '75 Porsche 911 on eBay, and I took a digital picture for him.

A while later, I was cruising another used car website, and saw MY picture of my friend's car, with another idiot's listing there.He was selling it for a friend in the UK, and he wanted 5 large up front. The idiot actually gave me his information.

Needless to say, he got nailed, it turns out, he's been doing this for years, and is reported to be in a ring in NY state, but he didn't give up any info.

One less idiot on the streets.
