Vette(s): 1981 Frost Beige Coupe... all original.. My SECOND Love...

Does anyone know where you can order replacement clips for the rod that connects the outside door handle mechanism to the adjusting barrel nut?  It clips around the top of the rod where it threads through the handle mechanism.  I broke mine while trying to remove the outside handle.

These clips were used on many models for many years.  Any body shop should have them.  You might even get them in a help section at Autozone.

Not the clips themselves, but the installing them can be the torture device.  You could not get off that easy.
