Vette(s): 1972 War Bonnet Yellow Coupe
I'm going to post on eBay a very good condition (no cracks, strips, etc.) original LT-1 aluminum intake manifold #3959594 (correct for 1972 LT-1, and possibly 1971 as well; also Z28s), but I thought I'd offer it here first. Hoping to get at least $225 +S/H.
+++++More Info++++
I bought this about two years ago, intending to put it on my base coupe. However, after considering adding the Holley carb, new hood, etc, I decided not to.
The intake is in VERY good condition, and has the oil splash shield attached. There is a plug screwed into the vacuum port on the runner right behind the carb (where the brake and vacuum tank connect) that I could not get out and I didn't want to crack it so I stopped trying. I'm sure it will spin out fine once the manifold is attached to the engine or something else to hold it securely. The manifold appears to have been "blasted" recently.
If anyone's interested, please let me know. I can send pix, etc. I will probably post on eBay 5/17/03.
