Just to update you guys, the car has now been on Ebay for 30 hours. It has been viewed 1211 times, has 19 bids, the high bid now stands at $2500 and 30 people have it on "watch". The reserve has been met so I'm gonna lose my minivette

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
Wow that is great that you are going to get more than you were asking but at the same time sad to let such a memory thing go, good luck, maybe new owners will give visitation rights.

Best of Luck. It passed out of my budget . My wife immediately liked it  for our grandson and another due in two weeks . totally cool. Maybe someday I can build them one myself . Memories are always in the heart- those will never get lost or sold . I'm sure your daughter will remember them as well and tell her kids about Grandpa's vettes -

Latest update......the bid on the car is now at $2550. It has 4 days and 16 hours left, has been viewed by 1959 people and has 41 "watchers".

I'm expecting it to stay at this price until just before the bidding ends. If i'm lucky, one of the two guys that bid $2500 will bump it again.........probably at the very end.

 Barry, do you have ANY idea of what it will cost to ship the car to Belgium? The guy who had the high bid lives in Oregon and the shipping cost was gonna be almost $800.

Let me know if you want me to retract your bid. It's not that I don't appreciate it, just concerned about the shipping. It would be a shame for you to have to sell you "70 to pay shipping on the mini.
