Topic: Got The Mini Vette On eBay
in Forum: C3 For Sale/Wanted Archive
OK Barry, it's your euro. The body is fiberglass. The bidding ends here at 3pm EST on friday. I think it's only fair that I absorb the cost of crating the car up. I figure it will take 3 sheets of plywood, a few 2x4s and God only knows how many styrofoam peanuts.
Before you bid any higher, I would check for hidden cost other than the shipping, such as import taxes or tariffs. I'm not familiar with international shippments.
"Poor Belguim guys"...You don't know what poor is. My family was so poor that if I had not been born a boy, I would never have had a "thing" to play with.
The car has exactly 24 hours left on the bidding. It has been viewed by 3545 people and now has 61 "watchers" BelgiumBarry is still the high sucker...oops, I meant bidder.
Hoho, Jim, my penny was falling ..... But "poor" ? whe where poor in our child-years : whe didn't have enough money to buy the glue so whe had to hold the wallpaper by hand in case of a visit...
Those 61 "watchers" worry me , see what the bidding does....
Sorry Barry but if 61 "watchers" worries you, what does 72 do to you? My advice to you is to build your own. I can giive you the contact info on getting the body. It's not that I don't appreciate your bid but with $1200 in shipping, I hate to see you have so much more in the car than you can build it for.
With 5 hours left, 4130 have viewed with 72 "watchers" and the high bid is $2800.
Thanx Jim. I follow the bidding. Ok , i can build one on my own but as already told , TIME. My business keeps me full day busy and finishing my sailboat after 12 years work in sparetime will finely cost even more TIME to sail... yeah , at last.
W'll see ebay... perhaps i try again if your minivette stays under the 3000 , don't know yet.The better for you ofcoarse ! I hope YOU don't regret it later selling that lovely car .......
surely interested in the "body" maker for future plans.....
Here you go Barry
Legendary Cars, 2065-D Bunnell Road, Warrington, Pa. Phone 215-491-1717 Fax 215-491-1720.
The guy who has the high bid now is from Charleston, SC. Since he's only about 200 miles away, he can pick the car up. I see where he just bought a gauge cluster for a 65 ot 67 corvette, so he probably wants the mini to match his car.
Yes i see it on his feedback : has already done alot of bidding on vette parts and Harley stuff.I'm glad i'm not the only "crazy "!
Can only hope for you it's going to raise out of the pan..... and i had the pole position for a couple of days !!!! yeah.....
No doubt about it Barry...you have the record for leading the bidding race...something like 3 days. No offense intended Barry but if you don't bid again, I don't have to worry about building that crate to ship the car, not to mention Homeland Security.
whe where just laughing here in the office with my words that you will be glad not have to build that crate!!!!!
so our toughts are on the same level......
as i see now your post !
