Topic: Got The Mini Vette On eBay
in Forum: C3 For Sale/Wanted Archive
Ok, i give up. I would be perhaps not wise to go further with the shipment costs extra and Jim to have build that crate with chips....
Than i have a reserve in my wallet for tomorrows classic car fair at Antwerp !
maybe a Ferrari GTO 250 ???? yeahyeah,
dycast.....
By the way , wasn't THAT ferrari who inspired our C3's chroom bumpers ??? OEPS...

IT'S OVER GUYS. The bid ended at $2800. I'm pleased with that. It just proves that ANY corvette is a good investment. It amazes me that over 4400 people viewed the car and especially that I had a bidder from Belgium
Barry, Since the car was a C2, guess that's why it didn't make the 3's
CONGRATULATIONS Jim. Only pitty that it didn't kept 2 enthusiasts in the end.... strange nobody came back of the previous bidders. If i where a US within 500 miles it was mine ! A moment i tought to go 2850 but yeah.... not wise as whe agreed. I'm not used to ebay , first experience , but i think you better choosen a ending hour in the evening , not on a working day in the afternoon ? no ? better for me ofcoarse as i was sitting here all night....
see you ! back to C3's.....

The car is going to Carl Beal in Charleston, SC. He bought it for his 12 year old grandson to take to car shows. He still hasn't picked it up but called me last night. I guess the main thing is that he paid for it as soon as the auction was over.
His grandson won't be able to but I can promise it will get attention at the shows.
