If you'll post a pic... I'll look through the extra boxes for the 77. Since i'm going LS2 i won't need it.
I owe ya one Mike.

Since i'm still internet active on a 3rd-world set-up I cannot (at this time) upload pics or enjoy DSL. Hopefully that will all change in March of next year.
Jamie, thanks for responding. Joel looked for me once and didn't find anything. Mike's pic. is exactly what i'm looking for. Over the winter i'm doing the deed on the entire engine bay which includes getting my cruise operational.
My carb (77 oldsmobile) has been changed out by a prev. owner and the linkage lever does not have the cruise stud. I'm thinking about trying to find a complete and unmolested 1978 Q-jet and start over with a fresh old unit to rebuild and restore but it has to have that cruise stud on the lever.
Does your carb. throttle lever have that stud? If so, would you mind selling it to me for a million bucks?

Mike....thanks again for uploading that pic. for me. You must have remembered that i'm electronically impaired.

My buddy has 3 Q-jets on the shelf in his garage. I called his cell phone and he is out of town. I'll check and see if the carbs have that post Sunday Rich. Keep your fingers crossed.
If that doesn't work I am also friends with the guys at the local Speedshop. Q-jets were one of the brothers favorite carbs back in the day and Jeff had parts galore. If I can't turn one up Sunday I'll give Jeff a call Monday.
