I like the look of these a lot better than the stock painted steel ones on our L48.

Anybody got an idea where I might find a used pair in decent condition? (They'll need to be pretty bargain-priced, 'cause the poor ol' piggy bank has little more than moths in it these days...)

Check Ebay or go to some swap meets, though the season for them is pretty much over.

Reproduction L82 valve covers are available through most of the restoration houses.
