If any one has any info on Ontario orange cars please let me know especially in the north carolina area. To include south carolina, virgina, west virgina, tennesee and kentuky we can go further for the right car.
looking for a 350 but I will accept info on larger motors, Must be a nice driver no show cars but a real nice driver, something that needs a little work is fine and original paint and black interior are a must It can be a repaint but it must be in Ontario orange, If you know of a original owner car that's even better but if anyone has any info it would be great
thanks

Nice to see that Ontario Orange is in "high demand."
Is there some sentimental value with the color? I must say that I do get lots of comments on the color of the car. From what I've read about the color 987, it was "middle-of-the-road" as far as number made in '71. By 1982 though, no one wanted to be seen in an orange car so a good deal of them were repainted red, black or blue. (Similar to the fate of many Warbonnet Yellows. Good Luck. I'll keep my eyes open in Carlisle.

Paul thanks, but were looking for a good driver in the 13-15K range.
I found one local but it was a piece repaint in the late 80's and all the body seams had cracks!
Thanks though!

Joe,
We are, well I should say I am planing on comming to carsile I just need to make sure I can get off work (military) and Ill be up there with my truck not the vette cant haul parts in the ZR-1
But the wife saw a 72 when we went to the corvette meseum and she fell in love with it..
also if you do see any that I may miss.
Im not apposed to a big block or a LT-1 if it needs some work and is in my wifes price range but it has to have a black interior and no lugage rack! the more original the better but I know cost will rise with that but we can look...
thanks

I agree...Ontario Orange is a sweet color...it's a "Firemist" color...GM's name for poly colors in the '70's...
