Need pictures and/or information. Go to my photo page and/or email me and I'll be happy to give them to you.
At this time(Wednesday 5th, 2005 at 3pm EST) the speedometer has 76,700 miles.
Here's what needs to be done.
Radio's antena will not go up but the Clock works. I believe it's the fuse. Not sure though.
Needs A/C recharged and has a leak for not using this year. Don't have a clue where the leak is.
The rear hatch has a small leak at the back and the hatch is not tight on the drivers side where the glass bends in a 90degree. I placed a seal on there but I'm not a mechanic. I did my best.

Other things that might be looking at(old) but not needed at this time.
Replace front door seals(ones that have the clips on them)and driverside seal.
Might need all the belts replaced. Just to be safe.
All the fluids have been change within 3 months(I use Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil).
All four tyres are 5% used and rotated with the original spare tyre(0% used) still in the compartment with lock and key.
My offer is 18,000usd or best offer. This is a fair price from what http://www.nadaguides.com/uv/selectmileageoptions.aspx?LI=1- 12-1-2030-0-0-0&Lnk=1&wSec=12&wPr=1&wPg=2031 &ct=7&mk=1035&yr=1982&md=37&sy=66613& ; ;da=0is asking for.
Thanks for looking.

Sounds like a good price, tho. Looks like the national average for a nice CE. Wished I had some xtra bucks. I missed out on a chance to get a CE about 4 yrs ago. 5000 orig. miles, showroom new. Asking $5000. No, that's not a typo! Guy didn't realize it was worth a wee bit more, until Mama said something to the guy's sister!

Hope you're looking for another one!

My lady hit me hard in not paying some bills so this will help. We will GET another '82 CE with in 12months. Maybe a brand new 2008 C-6 ZO6 when avalible. If I can pay for it.....
Right now in the mist of paying some bills and short of it.
Oh well... sh*t happens....
Sorry to see that you are selling your ride Mike. Good luck on your sale.
I take it that you won't be needing that 140 kmh speedo. If you still want it let me know. I will be switching back to the 85 mph speedo in a couple weeks. Just putting the '81 away this week.

Darryl,
I'll still take the 140kmh speedo. I'll get another '82 CE when I get out of the mess. We both enjoy driving and riding one.
Really sorry to hear you have to sell her. I know how much you like that car. There must be another way.
Get another job, at least for the winter.
Stop buying smokes, beer, wine, magazines.
Don't eat lunch. Eat mac and cheese for dinner. Every day.
Collect returnable cans and bottles.
Cut up the plastic cards.
There must be a way to keep that Vette.
Hope you can somehow manage.
