The cruise control on my 1977 doesn't work. My mechanic told me I need a new "servo." He checked several places and was unable to find one. He spoke to a person at Eckler's who told him they aren't made anymore by anyone. Does anyone know where I might find one of these, new or used? Personally, I wouldn't know a servo if it introduced itself.

Why do I always get blamed for everything I do?

Vette(s): 92 coupe, full minor custom, in & out
my speedo cable broke a few years ago. my 79 L82 HAD cruise until i elected not to replace that cable. if you want and tell me what it looks like and where it is and pay for shipping, i'll take it off and send it to you.
i don't know if it works, but i'm sure the shipping is not that bad. don't push me for time, i'm lazy and it's hot in fl. right now.

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
"The Last Detail" sells new or rebuilt servos. just click on their web page and look it up. A plastic one is about $40.

Well, I guess I've acted too quickly. I found one at Corvette Central and ordered it. It hasn't arrived yet but it was certainly more than $40 (around $80). Thanks for the offer Michael. If this one I ordered doesn't work out for some reason, I'll let you know.
