Hey folks, I need your help! I was out Saturday cruising around in my '80 Silver Vette and lost the right front wheel exterior chrome center cap with emblem and the spindle end cap underneath the chrome cap. I have slotted aluminum wheels. Do any of you have these and want to sell them? I've looked on some sites and found the chrome exterior center cap and emblem, but not the spindle end cap.

Are you talking about the dust cap that covers the wheel bearing adjuster nut/cotter pin? You can get a dust cap at the local auto parts store, if this is the one your talking about.

Norm,
Beautiful RED 80!!! My local GM dealer had trouble finding 80 Corvette parts in their PC software for ordering parts. I think the guy that was helping me was a new employee, because he looked confused. He disappeared to their auto body shop and never came back to help me. I'll try them again.
Thanks for you response...you've got a GREAT looking 80!

Before he can try to say otherwise...Darryl's Vette looks better in person!

Sorry I can't help in finding the part. Check any of our sponsors if the dealer doesn't help! http://www.zip-corvette.com is a non-sponsor but where I have gotten the best service personally.

Thanks for the compliments Pete and Scot!
Scot knows that I won't be happy until the fresh coats of silver and charcoal are applied.
BTW- Scot, the LT4 Roller HotCam conversion is almost complete. I figured I better do it now before the paint job.
Take care! Sarge

Heck man, I thinking more on the lines of shrapnelling the diff or halfshafts this time. It would be a lot cheaper.

Flyboy, I was in a Advance Auto store yesterday and spotted wheel bearing caps on the shelf for about $4.00 each. You know the section that has the red packages and has "HELP" written on it. The "HELP" line of products carry most of that odd stuff.
Good luck!
