All I gotta do now is buy one for myself. Just outta curiosity sake, how much did he charge and what ratio did you get?
After doing a lot of research ,,, checking around , I found that locating this style of carrier with a 3:9 or 3:7 gear was very unlikely . So I asked to get me a complete carrier assy regardless of the ratio . Last nite after the vette show he called to tell me he found one ,,, he originally wanted 300$ but offered it to me @ 250$ . Needless to say I picked it up ,,, BTW mid america wants 900$ with your old rebuildable unit . The 82 units are all aluminum cased and the one I picked up is in very good shape including a good rear cover assy . I have no idea what the ratio is as I have not looked,,,,,,,,, who knows maybe I'll get lucky. Ed is a very good guy to deal with,,,, good service and prompt
