I tell you what. I have a set of hooker side pipes, but they need a little TLC. They were on my 72 when I got them, but since I have replaced them. The ones I have are for a Small Block. The headers are siezed to the side pipe. I was unable to seperate them so I removed them as a single unit. The have some typical rust that has removed the chrome where they exit behind the front wheels. Side tubes are in good shape. Personally I would strip them and have them either re-chromed or sent off and have them ceramic coated. Most likely the mufflers in them will need to be replaced.
Here is the deal I am offering you. If you want them you can have them....for nothing. We just need to figure out how to get them to you. They're big so it will cost quite abit to ship. But if your attending an event around the Tennesse area maybe we can hook up and get them to you.

If Kyle (Target Top Vette) doesn't want the side pipes I would be interested in them. I have a 68 and a 80 (both small blocks) and I'm sure they would (or could be made to) fit. Send me an e mail and we can see what has to be done to ship them to me (outside of Philadelphia). Thanks Jimmy

That is a sweet deal!...I'd be more than happy to take those off of your hands. What would shipping cost approximately? I would be happy to arrange something with you. Shoot me an email at KSteves10700@aol.com

Well, before you jump to any conclusions and pay for shipping I should probably take some pictures of them and email them to you. Their solid, but have surface rust and need to be reworked. Shipping might be a hassel, because I can't get the side tubes to seperate from the header. I hesitated using my propane torch on the side tubes as it would discolor the chrome. If you decide you want them I can try one more time with your permission to use the torch to heat up the side tube and use a little
friendly persuasion and hopefully the will come appart. I can tell you that they take up a whole pallet when shipped as a set. The header boxes are huge, because there is one header in each box. So I know there will be oversize shipping charges.

Good call on the pictures...Email them to me at KSteves10700@aol.com if you would. I was actually thinking about driving down with my dads pick up on a weekend and picking them up. Its only a 10-12 hour drive so its not that bad.

Whew, with the cost of gas these days you may be better off shipping them. Totally up to you.
Let me get some photos taken and I will email them to you.

Sounds like a plan. Its gotta be warmer in Tennessee than in the frozen tundra of New York
lol..anyways, whenever you have time to take pics and send them is cool with me. I'm not an impatient person. Thanx again.
