Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.

I can't believe this car is going this high. I called the guy and it's not even an off-frame restoration. He claims to have receipts showing where $38,000 has been spent on it. Is the car actually worth $28K? To me it's not.

Note the bids are private. I just don't trust hidden bidders.

I made a mistake Mark....there was no reserve but it had a "BUY NOW" @ $28,000.

Looks like a lot  of work was done. on frame or off it`s a clean car. Wouldn`t surprise me at all if he got real close to that 28g`s. What I`ve seen for 20g`s lately surprises me. We`re on the rise with our cars.

Vette(s): 1974, 454 with 4 on the floor, matching numbers.
It all comes down to what you want & how much you're willing to spend. As far as I'm concerned, you will always wind up spending money owning one of these babies ! I must admit the car looks very nice, but how does it run ? if you're looking to spend that kind of money look around, there's always something nice out there. Ask a member who lives close to the seller if they'll take a look at it for you. Good Luck

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.

Well, according to another post on the forums with Bry and his '72, the trim code on this baby says it should be Dark Saddle (417), but I see black seats and interior, so it's not winning any NCRS honors for whatever it sells for.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
