I'm posting this for a friend. He's looking for a set of 4- 15 X 7 Rally Wheels. I know most of our sharks used 8" wheels, but I think the 68's had 7's. Anyway, please let me know if you can help. Prefer close to Chicago to eliminate shipping costs.

all corvette catalogs have them. they run more than the 8" due to there rareness. why does he need 7"?. is he putting them on a 68?

If they're for a '68, be sure the code is correct. some other cars used 7 inch wheels and the offset isn't right for the car. Monte Carlo had a 7 inch wheel and Chevelle did too. Both had different offset.
I've seen a couple of sets on E Bay. They're still out there, but rare.

The Monte Carlo wheels won't take the wide trim rings. The rings on those were about half as deep. I'm sitting on a set of mid year 15X6 rims for a friend. If your friend is interested, I'll see if my friend wants to sell them. (that almost sounded confusing!
