Hey everyone!

Ok its time to start on the exhaust portion of my project. I am looking for either 1) complete headers/side pipes or 2) Ceramic headers for my 69 427. The best price i have found for the headers is $415.00 shipped. I have found SB sidepipe set ups all over the place but i can't seem to find the BB version. Anyway any help is appriciated.

are you wanting to run hooker style pipes or factory pipes..

if you want a set of BB headers ill have a set id let go very cheap very soon.. (once my hooker pipes get here)

they arent ceramic but you can get them jet-hot coated cheap.. and theyll look better, last longer and perform better..

Corvette Central sells sidepipes for big blocks as well as a full side pipe/headers package. Not cheap, but you're likely limited in choices.

Other suppliers probably have similar pacjages available.

I am somewhat torn at the moment. My choices are as follows:

1) Side pipes... $870.00 shipped + $600.00 to have them ceramic coated. But at least this is a complete system. To me they look NICE from the side... but when i look at the omitted tail pipes it leaves me lacking.. however the resale value will go up with side pipes (but i don't think i can part with it for a good long while)...

2) Headers ($164.00 + $250 for ceramic coating inside and out.. + $300 for a custom system). This looks better to me BUT the rest of the exhaust will rot out...

Anyway any imput is appricated.
