Are you required to have on where you live? On my '78 L82 I removed the cat several years ago and installed a complete true dual exhaust system. The car runs much better afterwards.
If you want to keep the cat, try Summit Racing or Jegs...they carry high flow cats you can install and they're not too expensive.
Another idea is to keep your current cat and simply empty the pellets out and run it hollow. It will look stock and probably run better.Gunslinger 2007-03-26 05:32:13

Mine's long gone. It was trashed when I put the duals on a couple of years ago.
