Gunther,
A new Corvette Central catalog arrived at "The Ranch" yesterday and on page 87 is a Locking Gas Cap. It doesn't have any info on dimensions and for price it reads Inquire so you'll have to get in touch with them for more details. I looked on their website (www.corvettecentral.com) but could only find listings for the 75-82 locking caps. Maybe an e-mail to mail@corvettecentral.com will get some info for you.

Hi
Yes and no, similar shops, may be not as big.
Problem is that this is a truck type cap, realy big size.
I don't think I can locate one over here.
Well, some guys have replied and either offered one or gave some addresses of aftermarket sources.
I will post what I find.
Thanks Gunther

Hi
Yes, it looks very good.
Is this for a 3 " tank opening ?
Is it the vented type cap ?
If it is, how much do you like for it ?
Is it an old original cap or a never aftermarket one, not that it makes a hell of a difference to me, just curious.
I hate the idea that anybody could mess my fuel system up.
So many jalous and crazy people around.
Thanks Gunther

Thanks, found it at Paragon.
It's a non vented cap, they mention that it can be modified for 68 by drilling a vent hole in order to make it a vented cap.
Has anybody done this ?
What's about fuel spillage ?
Somebody offered me a non vented cap, sorry, forgot his name. Pls post me again.
I also checked with corvette central and they are no more available with them.
Thanks Gunther

Hey, I found one at Carlisle, The seller had three, 1 venting, 2 non. He had a NOS from GM in the box ($100.00). I didn't get the guy's name however.....just a small vendor....I've been looking for one for two years, finally got it.....That's the best I can do...Sorry...........
