Anyone have input on service/parts from ZIP in Virginia. They are close to home for me but I haven't dealt with them yet. Been going thru Corvette America. I may be in need of a rear end not sure yet. making some bad sounds... looking into it this weekend... trying to find a reliable place to get parts...

I've used Zip with good results. There are a few others that I've also used who were pretty good, depends on what you're looking for.
Corvette Central, MidAmerica, Muskegon Brakes, have all been great to deal with.

Yes - very good luck, as well as with Paragon and even Dr. Rebuild!

Zip is good

I have ordered numerous times from Zip and have been very happy with the quality and timeliness of getting the parts. Sometimes I comparison shop and buy from Mid America also. Eckler's has GM restoration parts, but the price is more expensive.
Before you do any major overhaul or put a lot of money in your rear end , change the posi fluid and put in the GM posi additive. It could make a difference, and it will save a lot of money. Kathy

I will try doing the change first. Not sure if it is the rear yet. Looks like the P/O has had the cover off the rear as it (just the cover) is clean or new and a recent gasket is on it. Can't get any info from P/O. so just checking it all out. Going to check/replace Uni's too. Just trying to get myself prepared in case new rear is in the cards. Want to be ready for spring...

I've always had excellent service from Zip. They have always bent over backwards to help me out, and I've NEVER had any kind of problem with the service or parts. Give them a shot !!

Another vote of confidence in ZIP. I have always had good luck with them. As far as the rear making noise is it chattering going around corners. If so, I believe I would change the fluid and additive first before spending the money on the entire rear diff.
