1972/SOLD/SOLD/SOLD/SOLD/SOLD/ Corvette T-Top Coupe Matching # 454 Big Block L88 Emulator.
Engine work by Ohio George Montgomery, bored .30 over, balanced rotating assembly, forged alum pistons, 10.5:1, Crane roller cam, Edelbrock Alum heads, L88 Alum intake, Barry Grant 850 cfm Speed Demon carb w/Wedge Air Cleaner, MSD electronic ignition, new, billit distributor, Edelbrock alum water pump. Headman headers and side pipes powder coated by Asthetic Finishes w/new mufflers. Engine lighter by 125 pounds.
Muncie 4-speed transmission (better than new rebuild by Racing Drive Trains), all new u-joints, new Center Force clutch, new, offset trailing arms, adjustable strut rods, single leaf composite rear spring, 4 new gas shocks, Steeroids rack and pinion steering, all new poly bushings, over sized front and rear sway bars, new ZR-1 style 17” wheels w/new Goodyear Eagle F1 235X45ZR17 tires.
All new brake system, new power booster, master cylinder, prop valve, all SS lines, Wilwood slotted, drilled 13” rotors, Wilwood calipers, 6 piston front, 4 piston rear, new parking brake cable.
All body work and painting by Superior Auto Restoration. Down to bare fiberglass, every crack expertly repaired, new L-88 style hood, extended to eliminate wiper doors. ADDED: Replaced the worthless vacuum chamber witha 4 quart oil cooler. ALL exterior bright parts new except bumpers which have been beautifully re-chromed by BriteWorks. New lap and shoulder belts, new retractor pots, seats down to bear metal, straightened, welded & painted, new foam, and Black Leather covers, new door interiors, new leather covered steering wheel, new weather striping, new power window regulators, new wiper motor, new carpeting, new Pioneer 200 amp stereo with rear speaker bar.
SPECTACULAR HIGH PERFORMANCE CORVETTE Odometer reading meaningless, this is a completely restored, new Corvette. $125k invested (have all receipts), will sacrifice at $95k until Spring when I will hit the show circuit.
I would really not like to meet a pissed off Ranger but I have met some over the years that had a look they could turn on and make me think they were going to eat me!
