Well we made it to Eboland and had a great time. We also had a great time at Carlisle, But we only accomplished half of our mission. We found a beautiful '99 magnetic red coupe with 29k miles on it. We brought it home with us along with the '78. It seemed that there were a lot more lookers and sellers than buyers. We have lowered our asking price to $14,500.

Glad to see you guys at Carlisle! I'm really glad you got the C5 but I really hope you can figure out a way to keep the C3! Happy Motoring!

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Do I read this correctly that you have taken the smog off?

First off...for a guy with two awesum corvettes you LOOK Miserable, you need a picture with that Shat eating grin I last saw on your face.
Next, that C5 is a hard color to photograph, the shots I took did it no justice, going to have to play with lighting to get the color right.
Finaly, go buy a 4 poster!

Yes, most of the smog stuff was already gone when I bought the car. A classic license plate in PA makes your car exempt from needing any emission control devices. Probably not that way in California. Not sure about the rest of the country.

That picture was from last fall. We went on a cruise to the Bahama's and it rained the entire time. So I was miserable.
I WAS able to squeeze the C5 into the garage without leaving Mary's car out.
Who knows, it may take years to get the '78 sold.

See it all works out!

So what did the neighbor kids say when you came home with two vettes?

Well we no longer have a Vette collection, but we are not Vetteless
. The '99 is an awesome car. No regrets on that purchase. The '78 will be missed, but I do see another C3 in our future.

Congrats!
I hope you gave the new owner all the info about C3VR.
And when you come to Carlisle next August, you can park right across from us or in back of us. Your choice.
Oh yeah, we still love you two.
