Great...Tuxdude, you're trusting this deal on two GURLS???
First off, this car was NOT built by GM, or sent anywhere BY GM for the conversion, especially as "gifts" for anyone. GM would not have done it for liability reasons. They did, at one time, do a couple of "feasibility" cars, to see how they would look, but the cars were never complete cars.
ACI did do some conversions, tho, including the Duntov Turbo cars, and in all likelihood, this may be one of their conversions, but I don't know...jury is out.
I see enough stuff just from the e-may pics to think it's about $4000 overpriced, IMHO.
I will say this, without actually seeing the car....I would never....NEVER give up da Tuxmobile for this one....just my opinion...
IF the car is still there this weekend, we may run out and have a look-see, if Micki & Mama(well....mostly Micki) don't scare the guy too much...

Thanks A LOT, Joel!
I thought you were my friend.
We aren't dumb "GURLS"........you know better than that!

Neither one of us scared the guy at all........he even asked me if I wanted to drive it!

Saw the car and it's in pretty good shape actually. Drove it too! Burned a little rubber around the first turn...
There were a couple of chips on the paint, but other than that the paint was in good shape. The color is DARK BRONZE with Camel interior. The engine sounded strong, but not much poop to it with all the smog junk on it, looked all factory and kept up. Didn't like the clutch or the breaks. The car has been sitting for awhile because there were cob webs under it and some on the body. All the rubber on the front end looked good, exhaust looked like it had run some, but not much (still some shine to it). Clock, air, radio, gauges, windows, turn signals and break lights worked. Couple of stains on the carpet, but nothing a good cleaning couldn't get out. Rag top checked out good.....took it down and put it up with no problem, all hardware in good condition and working well. Nice lookin' car.
If I had the money, I would consider it.

Nice job Mick, the gold and the copper would look nice next to each other

OK then the ball is in tux court, did not see a reserve.
Oh and the 1980 days motors were so smogged up it killed the pony's, more like a pack of mules. But dang they corner nice.................

Can't help but wonder why there are no bids. Won't know if there's a reserve until someone bids on it. Sounds like a nice Vert Mick.
Wondering the same thing myself Terry no bids and only 4 hours left. Guna watch this one for the fun of it, last few minutes might be interesting.
If no bids it may give tux a better hand
