I am posting this because I want to buy this car, but I never have the spare cash when I find good deals. If anyone is interested, here is an email I got from the owner when I inquired about the car. Quoting email...

"The car hasn't been out of the garage in several
years and I fear that the carb may be shellacked.
When I parked it, it ran very strong.
'69 350/350, 4 speed. If memory is correct, it's a
411 rear end with posi-traction.
It's black on black; but, was orginally riverside
gold according to it's paint plate.
The engine (original I believe) has been taken
30/1000 over with a souped up cam, higher compression pistons, hooker headers,
and beefed up exhaust. I have the original cam and pistons.
The air conditioner hasn't been operated for
years. The door, window, and t-top rubber seals are worn.
It may have one universal that needs
replaced.
I would call it "street-fair" as to condition. The
engine and drive train are very strong. The interior and body could use some
care."

$11,000 and he will fix the carb and u-joints.
I just spoke to him today. He will get me some pictures this weekend. He says the paint is a 20 footer . He thinks the paint may have put on too thick. The interior has a crack in the dash and carpet could stand to be replaced. He has owned many Vettes and seems like a truthful seller.
Sounds to me like if you fixed a few things it would be a respectable driver as is. He thinks the previous owner may have set it up for drags. He is going to verify the matching #s. He isn't positive about the rear gears being 411, but he will look up the paper work.
I am seriously considering selling the wife's car and buying it, if nobody snatches this up.

Give me a few days if he doesn't email some pictures I will drive down there, it is about an hour from my house. I have been really busy lately.

I've looked at your car a couple of times in the past couple days! What are you asking for it, I no its a 1969 and needs a little work, but I'am getting ready to retire next year and need another car to waste my time on. We have a 1968 t-top that is about 88% complete and I just really like the early model Corvettes

Sorry I'm not the owner.... his email address is posted above. He hasn't sent me any pictures yet. He said he took some and doesn't know how to d/l them on the pc. I have been really busy or I would have went to his house and took some photos. If anyone gets real serious about the Vette. I will go there and get detailed photos. If I can sell my wife's car I would buy it. I have his Phone # also, but I didn't want to post it here. I can email it to you.
