I am watching it on myebay, lets see where it goes. I am not ruling it out but I was thinking of a nicer car to start with and maybe doing a body kit and a huge engine in an already met bubba Corvette.

That would be a huge project, but so cool to have all put together.  I am thinking the perfect color would be either red or white. LOL
Well lets see, Red with white interior would be HOT. The 427 could be sent out for machine work while the body is off with the frame being completed. Perfect Choice could do the interior real nice.

Uh, I almost forgot. We better ask Suzy what to do before you get carried away. She would definately need to add some input here since she would be a stockholder.

It would be a great way to break that new garge in though!

I have not mentioned it to her at all as of yet, thought I might spring it on her as the auction gets closer to end

Uh oh, better let me call her. I think she is gonna blame me for planting this idea into that noggin of yours.

Lets see how can we make this appealing from a womens perspective?

Where in the heck is Micki & Karen when you need them!
...It should be easy enough to verify this car...Rosen still retains the original VIN numbers of all Motion Corvettes....
I agree.  Rosen has maintained his records and, for a fee, will verify whether the car is actually one of his or a clone.

Think about it:  The ebay seller has what he/she says might be a Motion car but won't pony up the fee for Rosen to verify it.

If YOU had what could possibly be a Motion car, wouldn't you verify it, especially so if you were wanting to sell it?

LOL

As you probably noticed, I let it go. Its just a little more work than I want to do for the return. I would like to know the reserve on it though. I asked , no one responded.
That's a puny front sway bar for a performance car like a Motion Phase III. Also, these were built as 1/4 mile race cars - notice the A/C housing? Confused

A recent issue of CF has 3 existing motion C3s written up. For those sleuths that want to dig more, that may be a good resource....

Also, here's a good article on a 69 MIII:

I want that hood bad!!!Evil%20Smile That dosne't look like the stinger hoods everyone is selling, I'm assuming it's been mod'd right.  As far as the one on ebay you would think they would do the research to verify it if really was one or not.

Cool Looks to be an LT1 with the gutter filled in and a stinger scoop added on top. My guess is that they roughed out an original LT1 and made a mold for hand laying the fiberglass....

Looks like the reserve was never met on the first auction. I think he'll probably lower that reserve. Ouch

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...
