It's a crime what they did to that vette.   I don't know why Hollyweird feels they have to modify a beautiful car just to have something different for their movie.

According to Yeager there were only 2 true Corvette Summer cars built. There was a primary car and a stunt car built for the movie. This car may very well be the stunt car that was used ....Tuxblacray2008-03-19 17:58:59

I didn't really see any stunts in the movie. But it was a long time ago since I've seen the movie.
