At long last, I have completed the restoration of my '71 LS5 convert. It is a numbers matching 365 HP 454 with 4-speed. It has had a frame off restoration. The chassis was done by Northside Corvette, one of the best. The body and interior are redone to original. It has power steering and AM/FM radio, and optional hardtop. We have it on display at Corvette Specialties. Before it was completed, I had it appraised for insurance, and it was appraised at $43,500 in almost-finished condition, with the understanding that it would appraise for much more when done. I am asking $45,000.
