I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

The paint isn't all the nice anymore, but it is as applied back then, and it's still presentable. Interior is super nice.
We first met Danny at the NCRS National Convention in Galveston in 2001. We talked to him for quite a while about the car one evening when we were both doing some last minute detailing. He told us the history, and what all of the different paint colors on the fender "Stripes" meant. Kewl stuff. I took a lot of pics that night...wish I could find them somewhere...I'll keep diggin.
btw...I doubt that he has ever pushed it really hard...the history is just too important to risk damaging it...but he do have a little fun every now and then. Next time I see him, I'll ax, tho.

I personally know the guy who has the car right now...I was at his house 2 days after its' arrivel here on Merritt Island, Florida. We both belong to the Cape Kennedy Corvette Club. The guy owned the car before now lived in Georgia, and had the '67 since Glenn turned it back in on the 28th of December, 1967. The guy I know now personally knew the previous owner since, as kept asking to buy the car since 1979. The car has NEVER been resold until now. No more rumors!
