Man Nutzie the first thing I'm concerned about is your still suffering from your bike accident. This has been going on for a long time Bro. Like Tux I have seen your Vette but not really up close. I do know your the kinda guy that takes good care of your stuff.
Anyhoo I hope all works out for ya and hope we can get together soon. Keep on pickin Brutha, "T"
Oh, And BTW. Good move keepin the RED 71.

The injuries from the bike accident are permanent. I am 100% disabled from the accident. I get around pretty good and have good days and bad days. if you see me, it is a good day ..lol..
It kills me to watch the cars go downhill and try and find a reasonable mechanic that actually knows what he is doing.
Getting in and out of a Vette with broken bones and bones missing parts is not a good thing, I can actually ride my Harley easier than I can drive any car or truck.
I am in the middle of my move back to NC, sold almost all of the guitars, just trying to make life a little more simple. I think living in one state with help the finances as I am not drawing disability. Terry, I hope to see you all in the future if I can remember to show up ...lol
The 77 has now developed an exhaust manifold leak, I took it by a local mechanic, he says a simple gasket replacement.. Simple... I can barely touch the manifold, not a chance of removing it. I told him if it doesn't sell in the next week or so, I will bring it and let him replace it..
First thing he said was, "If I had a car like that, I would never sell it" grrrrrrr....

I put it for sale on a local online site, best offer. I have not even got a phone call. I guess I keep it a while longer. I drove the 71 from STL to NC Wednesday, it was a beautiful day for the most part and it ran perfect. It was rough getting in and out but I had a huge grin anyway. It seems the economy is in the toilet worse than I thought, at least I am not the only one broke...

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed
Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

If you listed it "Best Offer" only without a starting price, people may be scared off expecting a much higher goal than you listed above. If you did put that starting price, then I agree.
Hope you have some good days around the gathering time next month and we'll get to see you in Charleston
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
Scott, hopefully with sping getting more stabilized with the warmer weather, you'll receive offers on Corvette. Maybe if you can get it to some cruise-in's might help. I hope the right person finds it and gives you a respectful amount for it. Good Luck!
