Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Adam, I think your profile info needs updated...
Plus, I saw a suspiciously familiar looking red '79 along the header where member's cars appear. Is that really the car of a member?
Did the new owner get a free lifetime membership?
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
I am hooking up the new owner with a membership. He says he will be on to post pictures of the restoration project he intends to start immediately. Said he'll be painting it this week. I'll probably see it at Corvettes for a Cure and/or Corvettes for Chip. I'm sure THAT will REALLY make me sad!

Hey Adam......
Sorry to hear that you had to sell the Vette, but glad the sale went quickly and that the new owner will be part of the group.
It must have been a hard decision because the 79 had been a part of your family for so many years. Priorities change and we all have been through it. You made the right decision.
My only hope is that you will continue to be our fearless leader.
Good luck and hope to see you in Effingham this fall.
Dean
I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for you.
But with a little luck, the new owner will get her looking all pretty just in time for you to buy her back with all your poker winnings.
